Description

A full day’s hike taking you up to the highest point of Montserrat: St. Jeroni. Instead of taking the classic route directly up the steps, we will take you to more unknown parts of the mountain, stopping at impressive viewpoints and surroundings. We will be passing through bleak areas with a whole variety of vegetation, both in composition and form, found in the higher parts, and areas which face south. The hike, relatively long but not of great difficulty, takes us to various hermitages, and close to emblematic summits, such as the Cavall Bernat, the Prenyada or the Elefant. This is, therefore, a very complete tour, looking at nature, cultural and spiritual aspects, and within a few hours you will have a very complete idea of the mountain of Montserrat. Suitable for families with children who enjoy walking.

 Material:

  • Suitable clothing for the time of year
  • Trekking or sport shoes
  • Sufficient food and water for the excursion
  • Camera
