Full day itinerary that covers the location of the thirteen hermitages of Montserrat.

If you want to start the journey before 10:00 am  (when the first funicular leaves), add 40 min. to the time and total ascent of 185 meters.
Although the church of St. Dimas nor  St. Jaume are not accessible, the route is demanding and comparable to the classic hike in Montserrat, the one that traverses from west to east the whole massif, despite having totally different characteristics.
This proposal begins to walk towards the Tebaida region to St. Jeronie hermitage, the farthest of all and the one that at the his was reserved for younger and novice hermitans, given the harshness and isolation of its location. It returns through the new and easy path that leads to Sant Joan, climbing finally the stairs of Sant Jacob, and visiting the churches of Tebes area.
The rating of difficulty comes from the length and duration of the hike. The six hours calculated you must add at least two hours more for the breaks and rest times and personalized history of each church that deserves to be told.
